How we got our name: On June 12,a detachment of the Marine Corps League was established to serve the local area for all Marines on active duty,honorably discharged, retired,and members of the Marine Corps Reserve who have earned 90 days creditable service or more. The detachment has been named The Bobby D. White Detachment in honor of his ultimate sacriface for his country. Bobby was the twin brother of Marine Billy R White of Peebles,OH, a member of the detachment. The picture above is Bobby D. White
