Our Detachment is based in Wilmington, NC, where we meet at the DAV Hall on the corner of College Road and Park Avenue on the third Tuesday of every month. We invite any MCL member to join us at our meetings whenever they are in town on vacation. Our current membership is 148 strong.

Along with other ongoing projects we are involved in the restoration of Marine positions aboard the USS North Carolina Battleship Memorial. We are currently restoring the 1.10 inch gun located on the port side of the ship.(Update: the 1.10 inch gun restoration is almost complete. Once the Battleship maintenance crew has mounted and bolted it in it's permanent place we will be holding a presentation ceremony with news coverage)
