Comanche Peak Detachment #1297 MISSION Statement Members of the Comanche Peak Detachment 1297 of the Marine Corps League joined together in camaraderie and fellowship for the purpose of preserving the traditions and promoting the interest of the United States Marine Corp. This is accomplished by banding together those who are now serving in the United States Marine Corps and those who have been honorably discharged from service,voluntarily aiding and rendering assistance to all Marines and former Marines, their wives, widows, and orphans by perpetuating the history of the Unites States Marine Corps through fitting acts to observe anniversaries of historical occasions of particular interest to Marines. To aid,assist and support the Marine Corps ROTC programs at the Granbury Independent School District. The Comanche Peak Detachment #1297 holds true to our Mission Statement and remembers that we are a community based organization and gives assisstance to that Community, and to our Veterans. The Marine Corps League is a non-profit fraternal service organization. Semper Fidelis
