Information for the Quad-State Convention & New England Conference 16-18 April 2010 at the Holiday Inn Club Vacations at Ascutney Mountain Resort. Check in begins Friday afternoon at 4:00. Room rates which includes the 9% room tax are:Room with king bed: $ 87.20, 1 bedroom suite: $ 125.35, 2 bedroom suite: $ 147.15, 3 bedroom suite:$ 179 .85. There are also handicap rooms if anyone has special needs. It is your responsibility to reserve your rooms. For those wishing to reserve a 3 bedroom suite, you need to contach Susan Clough at 1-407-905-1681, mention Marine Corps League, dates and code "PMC". To reserve by phone: 1-866-591-0448 (this is in Florida and is a push button aggravation that will let you make a reservation) -- give date, MCL and code "PMC". You will be given the pre-tax amount for the room. If this will be a problem, call Susan Clough at her number above. If you will be making your reservations online it's holidayinn.com/ascutneyresort - code "PMC." Susan is in Monday thru Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Room reservations need to be made before 17 March 2010 to guarantee the price. Meals: the prices are all inclusive. Friday even pre Growl -- Italian dinner buffett : $ 22.20 - Plated Caesar salad, garlic bread, vegetable lasagne, meat lasagne, meat balls with marinara sauce. Saturday And Sunday breakfast: $ 13.24 ea. Scramble eggs, vegetable omelet, bacon, SOS, home fries, fresh fruit, yogurt, muffins, danish, bagels, assorted fruit juice, coffee, tea. Saturday evening banquet: $ 33.72. Plated garden salad, dinner roll and choice of Chicken Marsalis, Roasted Prime Rib, honey carrots, seasonal vegetable, roasted potato, rice pilaf. Devil Dog registration will be held at the same time as registration for the Convention to eliminate the rush before the Growl. Have your passports ready. Transportation will be provided to take the ladies shopping Saturday morning. Sign up during registration on Friday afternoon.
