The Upstate Marines Detachment #1106, located in Anderson, SC, was chartered in 2002 and currently has more than 60 members who live in Upstate (northwest) SC and northeast GA. It is the first local branch to be established in the Upstate area to serve Anderson County.

Our members realize some of the greatest rewards in life, those of friendship and the sense of individual and group fulfillment through our various community programs. We are especially proud of these programs such as Toys-For-Tots, and our newly founded "Young Marines" for children and teens between the ages of 8-18.
