12/21/10 NEW GUARD AT THE GATES: John A. Arnold served in the South Pacific during WWII and continued to serve his country as a member of the Marine Corps League and as a PDD in the Military Order of the Devil Dogs. John was an inspiration to young and old alike, stirring up patriotic enthusiasm in children with visits to local schools and standing as an example to adults with his participation in parades, flag ceremonies and solemn last rites. We mourn his passing yet feel a little better knowing we have someone ready to stand beside us once again when our time comes. Frank has held almost every office at the detachment level and is currently our Paymaster and Chaplain. (That's one way to ensure the books stay honest.) Marine Armentrout currently holds the position of Chaplain for the Department of WV.
