MARINE CORPS LEAGUE DETACHMENT 410 Originally our Detachment was named after Lieutenant Marion B. Revell who was killed at Iwo Jima. The Detachment which was chartered in 1947 is the oldest Marine Corps Detachment in South Carolina. Major Julian D. Dusenbury was unanimously elected Commandant of the newly organized Marion B. Revell Detachment of the Marine Corps League. The Detachment was re-chartered in 1977 and renamed the Julian D. Dusenbury after it’s first Commandant.
