All Marines, Inactive Marines, and FMF Corpsmen and anyone who like to become a Marine Corps League Member. We welcome all veterans that would like to help in our causes. MARINE CORPS. LEAGUE FINDS A PLACE TO CALL HOME as written quite a while back (Approx. 1997.) "Once a Marine, Always a Marine." At least, that's the way Paul Herron of Williamstown, sees it. He was an active Marine fom 1951-53, served 12 months in the Korean War as part of the ground troops, and remains committed to the corps. He is currently a sergeant of arms for the Northern Kentucky Marine Corps. League Detachment #1006, which recently opened up the new William Clinger Hall on Barnes Road in Williamstown in the old animal shelter building. But with only 28 dues-paying members, Herron and fellow Marines agree that numbers are low. The article goes on for quite a while, but the sentiment is still there "WE NEED ACTIVE MEMBERS"
