The Yagle Brothers Detachment of the Marine Corps League is composed of Marines and former Marines with honorable service (regular members) and other individuals interested in preserving the traditions and spirit of the U.S. Marine Corps (associate members). Most of our members live in the Northwestern corner of Michigan's lower peninsula. Regardless of rank held, regardless of when or where you served, no matter what Division or Wing or Detachment you may have served with, in war or peace, if you were a Marine, male or female, you are welcome in this Marine Corps League Detachment. Associate members need not have and been Marines, but they should have a strong interest in our ideals. We have recently completed our headquarters from building at Camp Buday. The Camp, located on four and a half acres donated by a Detachment member, is on US-31, 2.5 miles West of Interlochen, Michigan. We meet at 7pm, on the second Wednesday of each month, twelve months a year. Our meetings are brief and conducted under a unified ritual with the Marine Corps atmosphere predominating. Several events are scattered throughout the year allowing plenty of time to socialize and swap sea stories. Stop by the Camp some meeting and see the obstacle course and climbing wall The Young Marines have constructed.
