We are the detachment of the Beaufort, S.C. Lowcountry and Parris Island area. We meet with our Leaguers at the same place the Corps makes Marines........................................ We publish the "Sand Flea Review" a monthly newsletter showcasing our detachment's activities, along with disseminating news and information of interest to "leaguers" and vets in general........................................ Our detachment awarded four, one thousand dollar scholarships during 2011........................................ Beginning in 2009 we started supporting the deploying and returning squadrons of MAG 31 along with providing comfort and support for their families.
